Awazon Market // address group
Changing which string you open
This is the group with the highest ratio of consequence to effort on the whole site. Five of its six records describe substitutions that cost people accounts and balances, and every one of the five is defeated by looking at six characters.
Awazon Market // onion addresses
The three strings below open the same market. The same account, the same balance, the same open orders sit behind each one. Copy a string, paste it into Tor Browser, and read the last six characters in the address bar before you type a password.

NOTHING HERE IS RANKED. THE ORDER IS THE ORDER THEY WERE WRITTEN IN.
IWhy this group outweighs the other five
Every other variable on this site decides how well protected a session is. This one decides who you are having the session with. A perfectly hardened setup pointed at the wrong string is a very careful delivery of your password to somebody who wanted it.
There is no software fix. Tails does not read address bars. A bridge does not read address bars. The check is manual, it takes two seconds, and this group exists to make the case for those two seconds.
IIThe six records
IIIThe check, in full
- 01Copy an address from the top of this page with the button. Do not select it by hand and do not retype it.
- 02Paste it into Tor Browser and open it.
- 03When the page loads, read the last six characters in the address bar. Compare them to the last six of what you copied.
- 04If they match, you are on the address you chose. If they do not, close the tab. Do not type anything into that page, including a username.
Every Awazon address begins with the same word, because the market generated them that way. A clone builder can buy the same prefix in an afternoon. The end of the string is what nobody can match, which makes it the only part worth reading.
